SMURF FOOTBALL PROGRAM INFORMATION

GOAL: Provide an introduction to contact football.
AGES: All 6 year olds and 1st year 7 year olds. (2nd year-7 year olds are not permitted to play under any circumstance)
PRACTICE: Tues-Wed-Thurs 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.
GAMES: No formal league play. 4 - 6 scrimmages throughout the year. Scrimmages will be mostly Thursday evenings (or Saturday mornings)
FEE: $80 total (no concession stand fee)

**This program will be offered only if we have a minimum of 16 players and coaching staff**

FOOTBALL EQUIPMENT HAND OUTS

Saturday, July 17 from 9:00 to Noon at the equipment room at Koon’s Park;
Tuesday, July 20 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the equipment room at Koon’s Park;
Thursday, July 22 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the equipment room at Koon’s Park; and
Saturday, July 24 from 9:00 to Noon at the equipment room at Koon’s Park

PHYSICALS

Dr. Cox will be performing physicals for $10.00 for players on Wednesday, July 14 starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Linglestown Fire Hall.

CENTRAL DAUPHIN YOUTH CAMP

Central Dauphin will again be hosting a summer football camp designed to enhance fundamental skills. Any boy entering 2nd grade through 9th grade is invited to attend. WHO ARE WE?

Linglestown Football Association, home of the Linglestown Colts, has been providing quality football and cheerleading programs to the area youth for over 30 years! For the 2010 season, all boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 13 (age as of May 31, 2010) are invited to participate in our programs. We are a member of the Keystone Midget Football Conference and are governed by their rules and regulations.

REQUIREMENT FOR FOOTBALL PLAYERS:

All football players must have a physical before they can participate in full contact practice (which begins the second week of practice), or play in any game. The physical can be performed up to six months prior to the beginning of the season. A note from your physician must state that your child has been examined and is physically fit to play football.
