REGISTRATION DATES & FILES
LFA had two “early” registration dates in March. Both were
very successful. Thanks to all who came out early!

The cost is $100.00 per football player plus a $25.00 (per family) refundable
concession stand fee for a total of $125.00.
And, $80.00 per cheerleader plus a $25.00 (per family) refundable concession
stand fee for a total of $105.00.
Registration will be held at the
Linglestown Fire Hall (not at Koon’s Park as in previous years):
Saturday, July 11 from
9:00 a.m. – Noon;
Tuesday, July 14 from 6:00
p.m. – 8:00 p.m.; and
Saturday, July 18 from 9:00
a.m. – Noon.
DR. COX TO PERFORM FOOTBALL PHYSICALS
Dr. Cox will be performing physicals on Wednesday,
July 15, starting at 6:30 p.m., for a small fee, as in previous years. The physicals will be held at the
Linglestown Fire Hall.
No sign-ups will be accepted on the night of physicals.
The office will be open the first night of practice (July 29) and individuals
can see Eileen before the start of practice.
2009 EQUIPMENT HANDOUT DATES/TIMES
Equipment handouts will be held at the equipment room located between the LFA
office garage and the restrooms at Koons Park.

2009 PRACTICE BEGINS...
First day of practice will be on Wednesday, July 29th.
The first three days (July 29, 30, and 31st) will be conditioning (no
equipment.)
Full contact practice will begin on Monday, August 3rd.
REMINDER: in order to receive equipment, a signed KMFC (physical) form must be
given to the equipment manager prior to pick up.

SUB SALES
LFA will be having two sub sales again this season. Both will give families the
opportunity to earn banquet tickets. More information will be available
throughout the season.

WHO ARE WE?
Linglestown Football Association, home of the
Linglestown Colts, has been providing quality football and cheerleading programs
to the area youth for over 30 years! For the 2008 season, all boys and
girls between the ages of 6 and 13 (age as of May 31, 2008) are invited to
participate in our programs. We are a member of the Keystone Midget
Football Conference and are governed by their rules and regulations. The
coaches and officers of Linglestown Football strive to teach the boys and girls
Character, Citizenship, Church & Family Reverence, Culture & Scholastic
Achievements, Mental & Physical Health, Sportsmanship, and Honesty & Fair Play.

REQUIREMENT
FOR FOOTBALL PLAYERS
All football players must have a
physical before they can participate in full contact practice (which begins the
second week of practice), or play in any game. The physical can be
performed up to six months prior to the beginning of the season. A note
from your physician must state that your child has been examined and is
physically fit to play football.
