	Countdown to the 1st Day of Practice!!! (July 31st 2008) Equipment Handouts!!! Yes, it is that time! Equipment handouts prior to the start of practice will be as follows: Monday, July 21 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Thursday, July 24 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Saturday, July 26 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Monday, July 28 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Thursday, July 31 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Saturday, August 2nd from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm Equipment will only be handed out on the above dates. The equipment manager is also coaching a team and will not be available to hand out equipment during practices. Please make time to come during one of the dates listed above to get your equipment. Practice Begins: Non-contact practice will be held : Thursday, July 31 Friday, August 01 Contact practices (pads and helmets) will begin on Monday, August 4th from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Important 2008 Cheerleading Information Click Here for important Cheerleading information regarding the 2008 season. 2008 CD Youth Football Camp A summer camp conducted by the CD Rams Football organization, geared to improve the fundamental football skills for boys in Grades 2 through 9, is scheduled for JUNE 15th thru JUNE 19th. Summer Registration Information Summer registrations will be held Saturdays, July 12th and 19th 2008 from 9:00 a.m. to Noon at Koons Park. Registration forms are available on line Click Here to download the forms. 2008 Registration Fee The 2008 registration fee will be $100.00. A discount for families registering more than two children is offered. There will be no mandatory fundraiser or buyout. We will have two voluntary sub sales during the season. One will be to earn banquet tickets and the second sub sale will offer prizes to the top sellers at each level. The refundable concession stand fee remains at $25.00 per family. Physicals Offered Dr. Cox will be available to perform physicals at Koons Park, July 23 2008 starting at 6:30 PM. The cost is $7.00. 2008 Varsity Schedule The 2008 Varsity schedule is now available. Click Here for the schedule. Athletic Training Explosive Sports Performance (ESP) trains the athletes on the Central Dauphin Rams football team. ESP designs training programs for athletes as young as 7 years old. Click Here for more information about the football training program at ESP. 	Linglestown Football Association WHO ARE WE? Linglestown Football Association, home of the Linglestown Colts, has been providing quality football and cheerleading programs to the area youth for over 30 years! For the 2008 season, all boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 13 (age as of May 31, 2008) are invited to participate in our programs. We are a member of the Keystone Midget Football Conference and are governed by their rules and regulations. The coaches and officers of Linglestown Football strive to teach the boys and girls Character, Citizenship, Church & Family Reverence, Culture & Scholastic Achievements, Mental & Physical Health, Sportsmanship, and Honesty & Fair Play. Please take a moment to read our Bylaws, which can be viewed by clicking on the link to the left. WHERE ARE WE? Our field is located at Koons Park in Lower Paxton Township, Linglestown, PA. REQUIREMENT FOR FOOTBALL PLAYERS All football players must have a physical before they can participate in full contact practice (which begins the second week of practice), or play in any game. The physical can be performed up to six months prior to the beginning of the season. A note from your physician must state that your child has been examined and is physically fit to play football.
